Help and support

Short answers to the questions people ask most.

My iPhone storage is full. Where do I start?

  1. Open Lagom and start with Largest first or Videos (the first 10 cards are free; Pro goes through all of them). A few long videos often take more space than thousands of photos.
  2. Open Smart Clean to see similar shots, duplicates, screenshots and blurry photos, with the space each would free.
  3. Review what you marked, delete once, then empty Recently Deleted (below) to get the space back today.

Photos in your own albums, favourites and hidden photos are never suggested for deletion.

I deleted photos but my storage didn't go down

Deleted photos and videos go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app and stay there for 30 days, so you can change your mind. The space comes back when they leave it.

To free it now: open Photos, scroll to Utilities, tap Recently Deleted, unlock it, then tap Select and Delete All. Apps can't empty Recently Deleted for you; only you can.

If you use iCloud Photos, the same applies to your iCloud storage.

How do duplicates and similar shots work?

Duplicates are exact copies: the same picture, same size, saved twice. Similar shots are bursts and photos taken seconds apart that look nearly the same.

For each group, Lagom suggests one to keep and says why (sharpest, clearest faces, best composed). You can change any choice before deleting. Analysis runs on your iPhone with Apple's built-in models. Photos stored only in iCloud are skipped, so nothing is downloaded.

How does the Unsure pile work?

Swipe up on a photo you can't decide about. It waits in Unsure and comes back for a second look after two weeks. You can also open Unsure any time, look at everything again, or select two to four photos to compare side by side.

Will I lose my progress?

No. Every swipe is saved on your iPhone the moment you make it, and months you finish are marked done. Your progress is included in your iPhone backup, so it moves with you to a new iPhone.

Cancelling, restoring and refunds

  • Cancel Pro: in Lagom open You, then Manage subscription. Or open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before a renewal or before your free week ends and you won't be charged.
  • Cleanup Pass: a one-time $7.99 purchase that unlocks Pro for 30 days and never renews. There is nothing to cancel.
  • Restore: in Lagom open You, then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.
  • Refunds: Apple handles payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
